About Maintenance of Certification
ACRP and APPI Certified professionals are required to maintain their designation every two years from the time of original Certification, and must earn Continuing Education Credits to do so. Please read the Maintenance of Certification Guide for more information (CCRA/CCRC/CCTI Guide; CPI Guide).

ACRP and APPI require periodic Maintenance of Certification to ensure individuals holding a CCRA®, CCRC®, CCTI®, or CPI® designation demonstrate an ongoing commitment to professional development in their selected area of practice. Maintenance allows Certificants to continue the learning process and keep abreast of topical issues affecting the clinical research site. Certification is becoming increasingly recognized as the Trusted Mark of Excellence in Clinical ResearchSM.
