There are more than 18,000 clinical research professionals across the globe who, like you, are dedicated to human subject protection. Your commitment to ACRP, its mission, and the clinical research profession at large is imperative, and one that ACRP does not take for granted.

As we work together to advance our common mission, I would like to briefly discuss some of the support mechanisms in place to help you achieve success.

ACRP’s Professional Development and Certification Programs are what we refer to as the “twin pillars” of ACRP. These programs help support our vision that clinical research is performed responsibly, ethically, and professionally everywhere in the world. Our goal for the Certification Program is that it becomes the standard of professional competency recognized and valued worldwide. For the Professional Development Program, we are striving to see that ACRP provides the most respected and sought-after professional development and training. Of course, pillars require a strong foundation upon which to stand. Fortunately for ACRP, our dedicated and engaged members provide that foundation.

There are many ways you can contribute to our mission and vision, including joining a chapter and volunteering to serve on committees or a board. You can also contribute to an open and communicative clinical research enterprise through the ACRP Online Community, where thousands of members are sharing knowledge and resources—leaning on each other—to advance the mission of ACRP.
