Innovation in Clinical Research AwardThe Innovation in Clinical Research Award recognizes an individual who exemplifies the spirit of creativity and innovation through adaptation, improvement, or development of new processes that result in improvement to the clinical research process.

Nomination Criteria

  • Nomination must describe a reproducible project or activity undertaken by the nominee that created, adapted, or improved a process that, through the innovation, leads to improvement of the clinical research process (e.g. time or cost savings; improved human subject protection, technical improvements, policy development).
  • Preference is given to ACRP members in good standing
  • Nominee may reside in any geographic location
  • The nominator provides:
    • Short biographical sketch of the nominee (100 words or less)
    • Why individual is being nominated (250 words or less) including how the project/activity was undertaken, outcomes/results, and discussion of unique aspects and contribution of the project/activity
    • Letter(s) of support from participants or others who are aware of the project/activity and its impact
    • Samples of any materials (e.g. program announcements, publication, poster, article). Please identify any proprietary material.
    • Nominee’s resume or CV summarizing clinical research positions, organizational affiliations and dates of service.
